Gift Certificates

The FSU Tag may also be purchased as gift, either online or through an authorized Florida tag office:

• Tag offices include any Motor Vehicle Services or County Tax Collector's offices or the offices of authorized tag agencies
  • NOTE: Gift certificates do NOT have to be purchased and redeemed at the same office or agency, and the gift certificate does not have to be presented to redeem the credit, just proper identification.
• Online - Currently there are three options for online gift certificates:
  • Silver - $39 - Gift Certificate Voucher - May be purchased online but must be redeemed at any authorized tag office
  • Gold - $89 - Switch to the FSU License Plate Gift Certificate - Covers all costs associated with switching from an existing Florida license plate to the FSU license plate including delivery by mail of the new FSU license plate. Gift certificates may be purchased online and redeemed online.
  • Platinum - $175 - Switch to the FSU License Plate and Renew Registration Gift Certificate - Covers all costs associated with switching from an existing Florida license plate to the FSU license plate, annual vehicle-registration renewal, and delivery by mail of the new FSU license plate and vehicle registration. Gift certificates may be purchased online and redeemed online. NOTE: Excludes new-vehicle registration, which cannot be processed online, and registrations for Transporter or Mobile Homes over 65 feet, which are ineligible for specialty license plates under this program. 

Please note that refunds are not available for gift certificates.
